The Studio

ONIONLABS is a small independent studio based in Toronto. We design premium pixel-art prints, desk mats, totes, and companion sets that are perfect for home display and daily use.

Every piece is built around an obsession — coffee roasters, tea houses, transit systems, everyday scenery — and designed to coexist on a shelf, a desk, or a wall.

The Process

Each design starts from an inspiration, something as simple as taking a picture or going to a cafe. We choose colour palettes that feel both nostalgic and modern, then stress-test them before anything goes to production.

We work with premium materials throughout: archival-quality paper for prints, thick-woven bases for desk mats, and canvas-weight fabric for totes. The goal is always the same: we want you to confidently display/use our products five years from now.

Made to Order

Most products are made to order or released as limited preorders. This keeps quality high and waste low. Typical production and shipping timelines are noted on each product page — thank you for your patience!
